Pool status: nine coins, one page
every number below is read live from the pool's own APIs — nothing here is decorative
pool.ion.cool runs a separate mining instance per coin: Quantus, Pearl, Core Blockchain, Qwertycoin, Epic Cash, PCoin, Block Zero, Orange and Xdag. This page asks all nine at once and tells you what each one is doing — whether the node holds its link up, how fast stratum is accepting shares, how much work the pool carries against the network, and when money last moved toward miners. An instance that stops answering says so plainly instead of showing stale numbers.

How this page is checked
- Two APIs per instance. Every thirty seconds this page reads each instance's /stats — the same payload the dashboard draws — and its /api/pools summary, which carries the ledger totals: paid-to-miners, blocks found, round effort and the last block.
- Short timeouts, honest gaps. An instance that does not answer within 2.5 seconds reads as “not answering”; its rows say “no answer” rather than repeating yesterday's numbers. “Network hashrate: no figure yet” means the engine reports no network difficulty — we would rather show nothing than a fabricated hashrate.
- Estimates are labelled. Network hashrate is difficulty ÷ the chain's target block time (12 s for Quantus, 120 s for Qwertycoin and Epic Cash, 38 s for Core Blockchain, 64 s for Xdag; PCoin, Block Zero and Orange publish no target, so their card reports no estimated network hashrate). Effort is the work submitted in the current round divided by the work a block needs: under 100% means the pool is owed luck, over 100% means the block is overdue.
- Client versions name the latest public release of each chain's reference client, not a string read off the running daemon — the pool API does not expose the node binary's version yet. A card with no Client row is one whose release the pool cannot cite.
Uptime, without the fog
We do not run a third-party uptime badge, and we will not invent a percentage. What we can stand behind: the page you are reading asks every instance live, and a pool that goes quiet shows it here within a refresh. Historical uptime is not recorded yet (TODO — the Telegram alert bot already pings the operator the moment an instance stops answering, which is worth more than a green badge).
