Mining guide — XMRig (CPU, RandomX)
- Download XMRig for Windows (zip) from GitHub releases: github.com/xmrig/xmrig/releases
- Unpack the archive to any folder (for example C:\miner)
- Open Command Prompt (cmd) or PowerShell in that folder and run:
xmrig.exe -o stratum+tcp://pool.ion.cool:33347 -u <ADDRESS>.<RIG> -p x -a rx/0
…or put this line into a mine.bat file and double-click it - You should see XMRig connect to pool.ion.cool:33347 and the pool answer «accepted» — you are mining; the rig shows up in statistics after the first share
- Download XMRig for Linux (tar.gz) from GitHub releases: github.com/xmrig/xmrig/releases
- Unpack the archive and make the miner executable:
tar -xzf xmrig-*.tar.gz cd xmrig-* chmod +x xmrig
- Run the miner:
./xmrig -o stratum+tcp://pool.ion.cool:33347 -u <ADDRESS>.<RIG> -p x -a rx/0
For background mining use screen, tmux or systemd - You should see XMRig connect to pool.ion.cool:33347 and the pool answer «accepted» — you are mining; the rig shows up in statistics after the first share
XMRig also ships a macOS build — grab it from the same releases page.

- Point its miner at this server (port 33347) — statistics are tied to your wallet address, not to the machine
Important
- Algorithm flag: -a rx/0 — plain RandomX, exactly what this pool announces in its jobs; verified end-to-end with stock XMRig 6.26 (every share accepted). XDAG-branded miner forks label the same job rx/xdag — either spelling hashes it, -a rx/0 is the one that needs no custom build)
- Login format: ADDRESS or ADDRESS.RIG — always keep the rig suffix (ADDRESS.rig1, ADDRESS.rig2, …), otherwise every machine piles up under worker «0»; payouts go only to base58 addresses, the old 32-hex format cannot receive them
- Port 33347 — plain stratum over TCP, no TLS, fixed share difficulty ≈20000
- Payouts are batched every ~10 minutes from the pool wallet: once your balance reaches 3 XDAG it is paid out, 1% pool fee, shares split proportionally (equal mode)
